The Sheffield College is a Further Education Corporation under the Further and Higher Education Act 1992. It was incorporated on 1 April 1993, soon after the City Council’s merger of Sheffield’s six FE colleges into The Sheffield College.

The College is currently seeking a Chair-Designate to take over as Chair when Seb Schmoller retires from the role next year. We have a number of governors who will be retiring in July 2020 so we will also be seeking to appoint new governors in spring 2020.
