Throughout this apprenticeship you will spend the majority of your time (usually four days a week) working and learning with your employer as you develop your portfolio and professional floristry and customer service skills. You'll spend the remaining day each week in college building on your knowledge of health and safety as well as your practical skills. Alongside your four practical units you will also develop your essential health and safety knowledge (gaining a Basic First Aid Certificate) whilst also expanding on your understanding of the order taking process and developing your awareness of your professional development in the industry. If you have not already done so there will also be an opportunity to obtain a City & Guilds Certificate in Customer Service. Once completed you will be well placed to enter a supervisory or senior florist role within the industry.
5 GCSEs grades A* - C (or acceptable alternatives) including English Language and Maths.
