About this Course

Career Go is a short course designed to help you develop your Maths and English Skills, build your confidence and prepare you for a full-time study programme or Apprenticeship.

If you're feeling adventurous you can also sign up to 7 weeks of activities in the Peak District, including climbing and navigation. Other areas include:

Practical Heritage Session

Try dry stone walling or woodland management.

Community Family/Peer Session

An opportunity to share learning with parents, possibly delivered in the Peak District.

Employer Visit

A visit to the Hilton Hotel.

Social Media Skills Training

Create a video and tag photos.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, however you may need to attend an informal interview before joining the programme.

Assessment

Online tasks/assignments.

Where does this Lead

Completion of Career Go will allow you to progress to a study programme or Apprenticeship at The Sheffield College.
