About this Course

The two-year Diploma starts by exploring the different organisations, ownership, and business structures within travel and tourism sector and delivers the theory, as well as the practical application of customer service principles. There are three destination-based units covering the UK, European and long-haul destinations. During the second year you will plan and participate in a residential study visit, during which you will provide entertainment for holidaymakers – something you will have researched, planned and prepared for. The Extended Diploma follows a similar structure, but there are extra units to complete including, Tour Operations, Marketing, and Specialist, Rural and Responsible Tourism.
