You must be aged between 16 - 25. There are no academic entry requirements.
You will build a portfolio of evidence which includes some written evidence, photographs, statements from other people and a variety of other methods - which then build into a folder portfolio across all of the units. You can handwrite or use IT - and we will help you to complete your evidence to the level you deserve. We can support with basic skills, but we also have students on Team with good previous qualifications including degrees. It all adds to the Team!
After completing the Team programme students usually go on to further development opportunities (including full-time study programmes), employment and Apprenticeships.
On completing the course you will have demonstrated key employability skills which are highly sought after in all career paths. The Team programme is a nationwide programme and recognised across the UK, so you may have an increased chance of gaining employment and the skills/confidence to enable this. After the programme you will be able to access up to a year of support from The Prince's Trust and college staff staff in finding opportunities.
The Prince's Trust will fund the residential trip, travel to the residential and for any equipment needed. Team members will need to have clothing suitable for outdoor activities and work in the community. We can help if you are lacking some items - just ask.
