Guys and Dolls tells the tale of gangsters and gamblers in New York's underworld, the trials and tribulations of love and the attempts of a Christian mission to convert those flouting the law.

Forty-five students are taking part in the show as part of their Music Performance and Production Level 3 qualification.

Jo Beadle, Performing Arts Lecturer, The Sheffield College, said: "This is one of the most popular and entertaining musicals of all time, and promises to be a lively show in the run up to Christmas. Students develop a range of professional skills that will prepare them for future employment."

The musical will be staged in the drama theatre at The Sheffield College’s Hillsborough campus, Livesey Street, on:

  • Tuesday, December 12th at 7.15pm.
  • Wednesday, December 13th at 7.15pm.
  • Thursday, December 14th at 1.15pm and 7.15pm
  • Friday, December 15th at 10.00am, 1.00pm and 7.15pm.
