Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to 12 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with a local employer.
Skills Bootcamps are the modern, practical way to build your skills to get the job you want. If you’re aged 19 or above, in work, self-employed, unemployed or returning to work after a break, and looking to quickly increase your skills in a specific area and fast-track into a new job or get ahead with your current employer, a Skills Bootcamp could be the right choice for you.
The Sheffield College-led South Yorkshire consortium has been selected to offer Skills Bootcamps – part of the government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Plan for Jobs.
Recruitment for our next cohort of Skills Bootcamps is now open with the programmes due to start in early November and be delivered over 12 weeks.
Our Skills Bootcamps have been designed to provide applicants with the skills and knowledge to take on additional responsibilities in their current role, which could see them progress into a leadership or management position.
