Key Units

Our one-year HNC Creative Arts Practice course promises a transformative journey filled with diverse experiences, self-discovery, and artistic growth. Throughout the programme, you can expect to immerse yourself in a wide array of mediums, techniques, and creative processes.

Initially, you'll delve into foundational principles, consolidating the basics of your selected artistic expression. These fundamental skills provide a solid framework for your artistic endeavours. As you progress, you'll have the opportunity to explore your specialized area, or branch out in to new areas such as photography, printmaking, ceramics, or graphic design and more, based on your interests and goals.

Beyond technical proficiency, the course will also nurture your creative thinking and conceptual development. You'll engage in exercises designed to spark inspiration, challenge assumptions, and push the boundaries of your creativity. Through exploration and experimentation, you'll discover your unique artistic voice and develop a personal aesthetic.
Guest lectures, workshops, and field trips to museums, galleries, and artist studios will enrich your learning experience, providing insights into the professional art world and connecting you with practicing artists and industry professionals.

By the end of the course, you'll emerge with a robust portfolio showcasing your artistic evolution and achievements. Whether you're pursuing further studies, launching a creative career, or simply seeking personal enrichment, the skills, experiences, and connections gained during your one-year Creative Arts course will serve as a solid foundation for your future endeavours in the arts.
