The Level 2 AAT qualification is the first step of our professional accounting programme. This course is designed for people who wish to develop a career in Accounting. It is suitable for accounting staff who wish to enhance their skills and qualifications. It is also suitable for individuals who have achieved a Level 1 accounting qualification or those who wish to change career. As a professional course, membership of AAT is required.
A minimum of grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Mathematics (or a Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualification).
AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualifications open up huge opportunities nationally and internationally. The qualifications are recognised throughout the world, from small local enterprises to the biggest multinationals, there is a demand for qualified accounting staff.

Do I need any special equipment?
You will need a textbook for each unit. Your tutor will advise you where the cheapest places to buy these are at the start of the course, please budget £75 for these books during the course. Limited textbooks are available in the college LRC for short term loans.
