The Foundation Diploma Art and Design UAL Level 3/Level 4 qualification is an exciting, intensive and rewarding programme of study that is designed to allow you to develop and hone your artistic/designer skills and make informed decisions about your progression opportunities, usually into art and design in higher education.
This course focuses on the practical development and application of knowledge and skills required by anyone wishing to pursue a career in architecture, interior design or product design. The programme is designed to help you to discover and develop your talents, interests and strengths within the spectrum of 3-dimensional design. You will work on live, industry standard briefs and exhibit your work in a final show so that you are prepared for work in industry. You will also take part in trips and visits to local galleries and museums.
This course introduces you to the dynamic area of art and design, building on the knowledge and skills acquired at Level 1.
This Graphic Design course is aimed at those students who have previously studied at Foundation Degree level (or equivalent) and now wish to top-up their qualification to a full Bachelor's degree with a further year of study. You will develop your emerging practice and position yourself in your specialist field underpinned by theoretical, critical and contextual understanding of where your practice is positioned in the wider academic, cultural and creative world. You will undertake modules of minor and major practical projects underpinned by critical and contextual theory.

This course focuses on the development and application of specialist expertise, knowledge and skills required by learners to pursue a career in Fashion and/or Textiles. The programme is designed to help you to discover and develop your talents, strengths and individuality in a wide range of career related disciplines including fashion design, textile design, illustration, pattern cutting, garment manufacture, garment technology, as well as business and marketing aspects of the industry. This course will prepare you for employment in the industry at assistant level, Apprenticeships or onto higher education.
