Our vision is a future where everybody has a fair chance to build success in whatever they want to do regardless of the unique characteristics that make them who they are.
In 2026 we were the proud winners of The Investors in Diversity Gold UK - Leaders in Diversity award. To win an award like this, organisations need to have clear values of fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement, and have these fully embedded within their workplace.
In 2025 the college came 3rd in The National Centre for Diversity’s Top 100 Most Inclusive UK Employers Index, building on our 6th place finish in 2022. This celebrates organisations that make outstanding efforts to create inclusive cultures and were delighted by this recognition of our inclusive workplace.
In 2021, we were shortlisted for the “Most Improved Organisation of the Year” category at The National Centre for Diversity’s FREDIE awards and in 2022, we achieved ‘College of Sanctuary status’. This is awarded to colleges that have “gone above and beyond to support refugees and people seeking asylum and help raise awareness amongst students, staff and the wider community about migration and why people seek safety”.
