Industrial action is due to take place over three days at The Sheffield College.
The three upcoming strike dates are:
- Monday, January 30th, 2023
- Tuesday, February 7th, 2023
- Thursday, February 9th, 2023
Students are advised to attend the College on those days as campuses and facilities will be open. Where classes do not have a tutor, alternative provision for students will be arranged.
All examinations will go-ahead as planned. All students taking examinations should attend the College as usual.
City, Hillsborough, Olive Grove and Peaks campuses as well as our Pennine 5 and Fir Vale centres will be open. The refectories, learning resource centres and both children’s nurseries will also be open.
The strikes are being organised by the University and College Union (UCU). Due to the nature of industrial action, it is not possible to confirm in advance of the strike days which classes will be affected.
