Our offer

Continuing our mission to transform lives through learning, our goal is to assist students and employers by fostering sustainable, community focused collaborations within the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority. In order to achieve this goal, we are delighted to introduce The Sheffield College Business Support Team; students are hand picked to create a bespoke team to help buisinesses grow and develop!

We take pride in the talented and creative individuals we’ve cultivated within the college, and as a part of our HSHG offer we can now offer you members of the TSC Business Support Team to help complete your project. Whether you need more hands-on deck for an upcoming event, or longer-term support for a new website or product launch, you have a great deal of flexibility within the scope of the HSHG programme.

Sometimes broad limits are harder to deal with than narrow parameters, so here are a couple of ideas to get your gears turning:

  • our Land-Based Studies learners can help you to rejuvenate a green space
  • maybe your online presence would benefit from the design skills of our Creative and Digital students
  • perhaps our catering and hospitality students could support with an event

The Sheffield College has a wide range of course areas from Aviation to Construction, Games Design to Hair and beauty, and we will help you to find the right student for your project. Best of all – it’s completely free!

Are you eligible?

We can support your business if you meet the following criteria:

  • Employ less than 250 employees
  • Annual turnover of no more than €50m
  • Based within the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield)
