The University of Sheffield A Levels Employer Skills Academy was launched in September 2023. This academy is based at our City Campus and supports all our students who are studying A Levels at the College. The academy allows all students to take part in structured assessment weeks which involve various sessions offered by the university to enhance their studies and support the transition to university life.
Students in this academy will be working towards their A Levels, studying various pathways. The University of Sheffield will support the programmes by delivering a range of workshops, masterclasses, projects, site visits and placement opportunities during the scheduled assessment weeks.
This academy is designed to enhanced students study programme and allow them to see what university life is like so they can make an informed decision for their future.
The students will undertake their learning in a recently refurbished floor of the College, complete with a common room. The students in this academy will cover an array of subjects such as:
