Combat the climate emergency with green skills

Our brand-new green skills and sustainability short courses have been created to offer adults the opportunity to develop their knowledge in sustainable practices and technology.

These courses include a mixture of face to face and online learning, creating flexible qualifications in retrofit, sustainability and renewable technologies, aimed to provide you with the green skills of the future.

Whether you’re wanting to improve your career prospects, retrain or upskill, or are just looking to gain a better understanding of the current climate – we’ve got you covered.

Why study a green skills course?

  • Domestic retrofit advice
  • Insulation and building treatments
  • Insulation

Sustainability

  • Carbon literacy and the impact of climate change
  • Gaining experience in net zero industries
  • Sustainability and the green environment
  • Understanding carbon awareness and energy management

Renewable Technology

  • Principles of metering for renewable heat installations

What can you do after?

Upon completion of your course, you could choose to continue upskilling and further your study by progressing to an additional green skills qualification. Alternatively, you may wish to progress directly into employment within the retrofit, sustainability or renewable technologies sectors.

Is there support to help me pay for my course?

The exciting news is that some of our courses will be fully funded at no cost to you!

If you do need to pay, you will have the opportunity to pay in instalments or, subject to course eligibility, access some of the loan options available to you, including 19+ Advanced Learner Loan and University Student Loan.
