Partners

We work with both universities in the city - Sheffield Hallam and University of Sheffield - with many of our students progressing onto these institutions, with curriculum designed to complement their offers. Additionally, The Sheffield College is accredited by The Open University as an appropriate organisation to offer higher education programmes through our UC Sheffield offer, leading to Open University validated awards.

As well as universities, we also have excellent links with employers such as the NHS, Sheffield City Council and Amey with many of our students progressing onto jobs or apprenticeships with these organisations.

The College also works closely with the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and the Local Enterprise Partnership to ensure we are matching the needs of business both as an educational establishment and training provider.

We also work closely with the major sport teams in Sheffield, with courses run in conjunction with Sheffield United and Sheffield FC. Furthermore, our Performing Arts department has produced music videos for up and coming bands on BBC Introducing.

The College also has a dedicated International Team, which has resulted in many of our T Level students having the opportunity to travel the world on Turing Scheme UK funded opportunities. Destinations have included: Bali, South Africa, India, Japan and many more. Additionally the Internation Team regularly host students from Thailand, Spain and the Netherlands as they come to Sheffield to improve their English and discover British culture.
