As the biggest further education college in the city, The Sheffield College has fantastic links with organisations in the Sheffield City Region and beyond.
We work with both universities in the city - Sheffield Hallam and University of Sheffield - with many of our students progressing onto these institutions, with curriculum designed to complement their offers. Additionally, The Sheffield College is accredited by The Open University as an appropriate organisation to offer higher education programmes leading to Open University validated awards.
As well as universities, we also have excellent links with employers such as the NHS, Sheffield City Council and Amey with many of our students progressing onto jobs or apprenticeships with these organisations.
The College also works closely with the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and the Local Enterprise Partnership to ensure we are matching the needs of business both as an educational establishment and training provider.
We also work closely with the major sport teams in Sheffield, with courses run in conjunction with Sheffield United and Sheffield FC. Furthermore, our Performing Arts department has produced music videos for up and coming bands on BBC Introducing.
The College also has a dedicated International Team which has links across the world with the college regularly hosting students from Japan, we have worked with the Kelai School for several years.
The Sheffield College has many memberships and accreditations and works in partnership with a number of organisations for the benefit of it's students and community.
