Chief Executive Statement: Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth

The Sheffield College has issued a statement following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, announced this evening.

Angela Foulkes, Chief Executive and Principal, The Sheffield College: “We are deeply saddened to hear about the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.

"Her loss will be felt by many and we send our deepest condolences to the Royal Family at this difficult time.

“There will be a period of national mourning to mark the Queen’s life. As a mark of respect, we will review our events during that time and support the City’s tribute to her reign.”

Sheffield City Council has announced plans for floral tributes and a book of condolences. More details will be confirmed in due course.
