The Kinetic Solutions Group Engineering Employer Skills Academy provides Electrical Engineering T Level students with the opportunity to develop technical knowledge, industry awareness and professional skills through direct engagement with a leading engineering business. Based at our Advanced Technology Centre, the academy connects classroom learning with real-world engineering challenges, helping students gain valuable insight into the technologies, projects and career opportunities that exist within the engineering sector. Through employer-led activities and industry experiences, students develop the confidence and expertise needed to progress into higher-level study, apprenticeships or employment.
About Kinetic Solutions Group Engineering Employer Skills Academy
The Kinetic Solutions Group Engineering Employer Skills Academy has been designed to support students studying Electrical Engineering T Levels by providing meaningful opportunities to engage with industry professionals and learn about modern engineering practices. Developed in partnership with Kinetic Solutions Group, the academy enhances students' studies through a programme of workshops, masterclasses, projects, site visits and employer engagement activities.
Throughout their time in the academy, students gain insight into the diverse range of careers available within engineering, from design and electrical engineering to project management and installation. By learning directly from industry experts, students develop a greater understanding of how engineering concepts are applied in real-world environments and the skills required to succeed within the sector.
The academy also helps students build their employability skills by exposing them to current industry practices, emerging technologies and professional expectations. Through hands-on learning and employer interaction, students develop the technical competence, confidence and workplace awareness needed to take the next step in their engineering careers.
