You will work on live, industry standard briefs and exhibit your work in a final show so that you are prepared for work in industry. You will also take part in trips and visits to local galleries and museums.

You will gain an introduction in to safety procedures, standard operating procedures, aviation medicine and the glamourous side of impeccable grooming that is essential to the industry. You will also gain invaluable skills and knowledge in how to be successful in the recruitment procedure, identifying the skills and attributes that airlines are looking for.
This study programme is for students who want to start a career in animal care and want to progress directly to employment in animal care, or to an animal care Apprenticeship. This qualification has been developed in consultation with employers in the animal care sector to make sure students develop the skills and behaviours that will give them the best chance when applying for work. Students will cover topics such as animal welfare, feeding and handling, a well as undertaking a mandatory work placement.
