Science Level 1

Level 1 Science will give students a baseline knowledge and understanding of biology, chemistry and physics. Completion of this course will prepare students for progression to level 2.

BTEC Applied Science at The Sheffield College is a Level 3 qualification designed for students aiming to progress to university. The course provides a balanced approach to learning by combining theoretical knowledge from subjects like biology, chemistry, and physics with practical, hands-on skills through coursework and laboratory work. There will also be opportunities to study specialist units, such as Medical Physics, Genetics, or Forensics.
