Our Learning Resource Centres have all the tools and resources you will need to reinforce, enrich and develop your knowledge and skills.
Our well qualified, experienced and friendly staff are on hand to help you, facilitating access to a growing catalogue of print, audiovisual and electronic resources that support the college’s study programmes. The resources have been specially selected by tutors and library staff to help you succeed in your studies.

When you enrol onto a full-time study programme at The Sheffield College, you will be assigned a dedicated support person, who will be your Personal Tutor, and who will be on hand to support you academically, intellectually and with anything related to your well-being.
Along with all of the staff you work with, your Personal Tutor, or Tutorial Mentor, will also be available to support you in achieving the college’s standard of ABC:

The Sheffield College’s unique Ahead programmes aim to enhance all students’ employability skills and support them to go further in their careers. Our Employer Skills Academies involve work-related activities and the development of skills for the workplace, making them a valuable part of every student’s career pathway.
Many employers and higher-level study programmes require a minimum grade 4 in GCSE English Language and Maths, and that’s why we do our best to ensure our students obtain these grades whilst they study with us.
