About this Course

The King’s Trust programme will be based in and around college and will help to tackle youth unemployment in Sheffield. The course will give unemployed 16-to-25-year-olds the skills and confidence to find a job.

Key Units

Young people will get involved in team building activities, a week-long residential trip, two community projects and two weeks of work experience during the course. They will also get advice on how to write CVs as well as gaining nationally recognised qualifications. The College is able to support Team members with transport costs to and from College, and with food and refreshments throughout the 12 weeks programme.

There are no formal entry qualifications needed to join this course.

Practical assessment.

Where does this Lead

The Team Programme offers a full qualification however, most of the activities are practically based and there is little or no written evidence required. Team members need no prior qualifications or experience to join our Programme.
