It is ideal if you would like to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, supporting their health, wellbeing, and social care needs. This course prepares you for work in environments such as care homes, hospitals, community healthcare, and social services.

Health and Social Care Apprenticeship: You could progress onto an apprenticeship which would allow you to conduct work-based learning assessed through assignments, observation, and witness testimonies. You would be working for an employer for most of your time and studying at college toward your qualification for a minority of your time.
This qualification can lead to employment in a wide range of private and public settings such as hospitals, care homes, community support services, residential care, and rehabilitation centres. You could also work in specialised fields such as mental health, disability support, and elderly care.
Interview process:
A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required for students going on work placements and will be carried out at the start of the course. Students will need to pay for this, and the cost is approximately £47.00 and a Tunic that will cost approximately £15.00
