Key Units

Careers you can train for with a Childcare and Education Apprenticeship include: 


Early Years Educator or Practitioner  

An Early years educator or practitioner roles can be found in full day care, children’s centres, pre-schools, reception classes, playgroups and more. The roles will include providing emotional care and supporting children’s learning and development. 

Teaching Assistant 

A Teaching Assistant role can be found in primary, secondary, special schools, alternative provision and further education such as colleges. The role will include supporting the class to enhance learners' progress and development either in a group or individually.

Entry Requirements

Individual employers will set the selection criteria for their Apprenticeships. 

Assessment

During your standard, you will develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours to ensure your readiness for your End Point Assessment (EPA).
