As part of the Elite Sports programme at the college, The Academy gives all students aged 16-19 the opportunity to undertake workshops with local sports clubs and engage with projects to develop their employability skills alongside their BTEC qualifications. The programme is a partnership between the college and the KW2 Academy. It is part of the college's wider Elite Sports Employer Skills Academy brand.
5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above to include English Language or Maths.
This course can lead to university-level study in areas such as sports science, physiotherapy, coaching, or fitness instruction. You could also progress to a higher or degree apprenticeship in personal training, coaching, or sports development.
