You will work as part of a team facilitating all the live performances in the Performing Arts department. You will be introduced to all areas of technical theatre and stage management in the first year of your course and then you will be able to specialise in your 2nd year if this is appropriate for your career path.

5 GCSEs at A* - C / grade 4 or above (or acceptable alternatives), to include English Language.

Assessment

The course is assessed entirely by coursework.

Where does this Lead

Most students go on to do a degree or foundation degree or a Production course at a drama school.

Future Opportunities

A significant number of ex-students are now working successfully in TV, film and theatre. Other students have formed their own companies.

While some students progress onto courses in the production arts, students do also go on to degree courses in a wide range of other areas where artistic understanding and communication skills are important, including Hospitality and Events Management, Tourism and Nursing.
