This Foundation Degree - validated by Sheffield Hallam University - aims to develop subject knowledge and understanding of the concepts, processes and content of the National Curriculum for Physical Education (PE) in primary, secondary and further education. In undertaking this course, you will have the opportunity to inspire young people to get active and develop essential life skills through PE and school sport. This Foundation Degree will enable you to play a pivotal role in improving young people’s physical, social and emotional development. You will develop your personal and interpersonal qualities that prepare you to be a skillful practitioner in educational settings. You will also explore contemporary issues that influence the wider context of PE and school sport, putting you in the privileged position of being able to transform the lives of young people.
Approximate costs for a HE course are between £7500 and £8000. You can apply for a loan via Student Finance. Please note all quoted fees are subject to change.
