Information Communication Technician

An Information communication technician role can be found in a wide range of organisations, large and small and within public, private and voluntary organisations. The role will include preparing for new or changed services, supporting clients/customers with their systems and completing regular problem-solving tasks.

Progression from this Apprenticeship leads to jobs such as Support technician, Network technician and Digital communications technician.

Entry Requirements

Individual employers will set the selection criteria for their Apprenticeships.

Assessment

During your standard, you will develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours to ensure your readiness for your End Point Assessment (EPA).

Future Opportunities

In South Yorkshire by 2030, there will be 28,200 jobs in this sector. This includes 900 new jobs created.
