This is a popular music course covering a variety of genres from 1950 to the present day. You have the opportunity to study across a variety of musical disciplines and develop practical skills in performance, composition, sequencing, recording and improvisation.
5 GCSEs grades A* - C / grade 4 or above (or acceptable alternatives), must include English Language and Music.
There is ongoing assessment through course work and assignments.
Students typically progress to the music degree course at the college or a music school.
