The Access to HE Diploma in Education (Early Years) is an intensive one year programme of study. It will equip you with the skills, experience and qualifications to go on to study a range of higher education courses in Early Years and Childhood studies that can then lead to careers in early years education, primary education, further education, safeguarding and family support work.

This Diploma will suit you if you are genuinely interested in business studies and returning to education after a break with the aim of progressing in to Higher Education.

Computing Access to HE

Designed to give people the knowledge and skills to study computing or IT at a higher level, this course provides an introduction to the various disciplines within the computing faculty. You'll study software development, web skills and computer systems, as well as having the opportunity to study Maths to A Level standard.

Health Science Access to HE

This Level 3 qualification is aimed at adult learners who are looking to return to education to gain the qualifications they need to enter higher education. Our students typically go on to study a broad range of subjects at university, such as nursing (adult, child, mental health), midwifery, ODP (operating department practice), physiotherapy, radiography, occupational therapy, biomedical science, paramedic practice, childhood studies, sport and exercise science, health and community development, dental hygiene and technology and science education. Many students go on to work for the NHS or in the healthcare sector.
