There are many different career paths and opportunities for those wishing to work in animal care, which range from working with small to large animals, and domesticated to exotic animals, in sub-sector areas such animal welfare, business, science and wildlife conservation.
During this two-year programme, students will gain the foundations to understand the knowledge, skills and behaviours that'll support them in kick-starting a career in human resources, project management, finance, business administration, and beyond.
You'll discover how to secure computer networks from hardware and software vulnerabilities and threats from organised hacking. You'll learn how digital skills are fundamental to businesses, digital infrastructure, and networking, before progressing to specialist technologies.
You will develop knowledge and understanding in a broad range of topics such as programming, coding, the use of data and different platforms of delivery. This is a fast moving and cutting-edge subject, where you’ll learn how to analyse problems and identify solutions through computer programs.
Students will develop knowledge and skills in early childhood, preparing students to work with children in a range of settings, or to progress to higher level study. Students will need to complete an Industry Placement to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for employment in this sector.
