The Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation will equip students with a deeper understanding of electrical science and how this applies to electrical installations and wiring systems. You will also start to prepare for work in the industry by developing your professional communication skills, with a view to progressing on to a Level 3 Diploma or NVQ, or perhaps an Apprenticeship.
Building on the skills you have learned at Level 1 and 2, this course can help you to further develop the competencies and knowledge you need to work in the electrical installation industry. You will study advanced techniques and delve deeper into the theory behind them. Whilst this qualification alone will not make you a qualified Electrician, many students go on to complete an apprenticeship or NVQ alongside employment.
The Level 1 Engineering programme is a one-year course that provides the knowledge, understanding and skills for learners wishing to enter a career in the areas of Production or Manufacturing Engineering.
